Mayor Miller is in his office adjacent to Town Hall the first Wednesday of each month if anyone would be interested in stopping by to share a concern or idea. Mayor Hour is from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 5901 Main Street.

The Town of Mount Jackson Museum is open for the 2017 season. The regular schedule is Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 1-4 p.m.. The 2017 museum calendar is available for $10 and can be purchased at the museum or the town office. Also available, clay trivets created by artist Lynne Crumpacker for only $5 each. A real collector’s item! The museum has fantastic volunteer opportunities requiring only 3 hours a month. If interested please contact Barb Pifer @ 477.3735.

New hours for the Library on Saturdays is 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Mount Jackson Police Department is accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. Applications are available at the town office, 5901 Main St. Mount Jackson. **Please note-the application must be signed in the presence of a notary. A notary is available at the town office Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:45 p.m.
The deadline for applications is 5/15/17.
