Located right here in Town Hall, our museum is a treasure trove of relics and stories from Mount Jackson's vibrant past. Come explore our impressive collection and connect with the people and events that shaped our town. Our friendly volunteer staff are passionate about local history and eager to share their knowledge with you.

Visiting Hours:

  • March through mid-December: Thursdays, Fridays 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 PM to 1:00 PM
  • Mid-December through February: Closed

We have some thrilling news from the Mount Jackson Museum Book Committee: We recently received our PROOF COPY for the new book, Mount Jackson, Virginia: Celebrating 200 Years of History, and we are absolutely blown away! đꤩ This sneak peek—even though it's just the soft-bound proof—is truly beautiful. Every contribution you all shared is bundled up in here, and the historical photos look magnificent. The Clock is Ticking: Get Your Pre-Order! The book is officially heading to print, but don't panic! There's still a short window to secure your copy at the special-pre-order price! This isn't just a book; it's a massive, heart-felt tribute to our community's rich past:

  • Over 550 pages of incredible historical photographs, research, and interviews with local residents.
