Effective July 2025, our rates are as follows:
Water:
- In-Town: $8.34 per thousand gallons
- Outside Town Limits: $12.48 per thousand gallons
Sewer:
- In-Town: $14.65 per thousand gallons
- Outside Town Limits: $21.99 per thousand gallons
Trash:
- Residential: $15.51 per month
- Commercial: $18.50 per month
Important Information About Your Bill:
- No Proration: Please note that the Town of Mount Jackson does not prorate water bills. This means that the full billing cycle amount is due regardless of when during the billing period service begins or ends.
- Meter Access: Our team needs clear access to your water meter to ensure accurate readings. Unfortunately, if we are unable to reach the meter due to obstructions like loose dogs or parked vehicles, we will have to estimate your usage for that month. We understand that sometimes these things happen, but we encourage everyone to please keep meter access clear to avoid estimated bills. Accurate meter readings ensure you're only paying for the water you actually use. We appreciate your help with this!
